Dan Ness is a lifelong resident of Otter Tail County and has enjoyed being a successful real estate agent with Century 21 Vista, Inc. since 2017. Upon graduating from Ashby High School, Dan began pursuing a career in construction. He was owner/operator of Ness Backhoe Service for over 20 years. Throughout his years in construction, Dan gained extensive knowledge dealing with all local and state rules and regulations including septic and well issues and lakeshore ordinances throughout Douglas, Grant and Otter Tail counties.

Dan enjoys working in real estate because it allows him the opportunity to continue working with the land, housing and building while establishing relationships with the people he works for. He listens to his client’s requests, provides them with good customer service and believes in providing prompt, honest service. The relationships Dan has built over the years as a business owner, along with knowledge of the lakes area, are great attributes to his success.

Dan and his wife, Andrea, live in rural Ashby and have three grown children.
