These businesses and many more make Fargo an ideal place to live and work. The community is known for having an excellent unemployment rate, a diverse work force, reasonable housing costs and outstanding educational opportunities.
Getting to Fargo
Fargo is a major transportation hub for the surrounding regions. Located in North Fargo the Hector International Airport serves the community with flights by Delta Air Lines, Delta Connection, American Eagle, United Express and Allegiant Air. For ground travelers the city has two major interstate highways, I-29 and I-94, running though it, as well as the BNSF Railway, Fargo Amtrak, and a public bus service that serves the Fargo/Moorhead community.
Having Fun in Fargo
Fargo home owners can choose from a wide variety of entertainment and recreational features that the city offers. There are a host of places to see and things to do. The Fargodome alone serves as a major venue for a variety of events from concerts, expos and the home of the NDSU Bison football team.

Fargo also offers a superior shopping experience from unique downtown shops to the West Acres Shopping Mall.
Whether its summer or winter; Fargo has a wide variety of outdoor recreational opportunities. From golf to hockey there’s something for everyone. Fargo offers a wide variety of golf courses, including Prariewood, Rose Creek, Osgood, El Zagal and Edgewood. Fargo also has several popular sports teams to cheer on, such as the Fargo Force hockey team and the FM Redhawks baseball team, which play at Newman Outdoor Field.
