Scott grew up in the Breckenridge area and graduated from Moorhead State with a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry. He taught science for more than 11 years in Mahtomedi, Minnesota, and also served as a Football and Wrestling coach. Scott obtained a Master’s Degree in Earth Science from Northern Arizona University in Arizona. His teaching background taught him to be a very organized person with a genuine concern for the earth and the environment of our beautiful Lake Country.

Scott’s community involvement includes work with the boards of United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Boy Scouts of America, Relay For Life Church and Ducks Unlimited. He is currently on the Friends of Prairie Wetland Learning Center board. Scott is also the past president and a board member of the Lakes Region Board of REALTORS®.

Scott was honored with a nomination for the 1994 Lakes Region Board Minnesota REALTOR® of the Year. He was licensed in 1976 and has achieved the GRI and CRS designations. Scott has taught real estate classes at a local community college and public school, as well as for the Home Stretch Program.

Scott has been with CENTURY 21® Vista, Inc. since 1984. He is a top producer and has received the top awards at the Centurion level, is a member of the regional Hall of Fame, is a Master Club Diamond Award recipient and received the Quality Service Award. To maintain his high level of commitment, Scott has attended many Annual Conventions and Masters Retreats over the years.
